When we recommend leaving Macao

For a return transfer from Macao, we recommend pickup at your hotel 3–3.5 hours before departure from PUJ. This is our planning recommendation, not an airline rule. The estimated drive is 30–40 minutes, but traffic, the final access road, hotel checkout and the airline and security queues all need time. Some villas and small properties use unpaved access roads that may be slower after heavy rain. Tell us if you are travelling with six or more people or have an address away from the main resort road. Send your flight number when booking and we will confirm the pickup time in writing.

Resort gate and lobby pickup

The driver arrives with time to spare for the access-road stretch and waits at the main lobby with your name. If your property sits off a dirt or gravel road, tell us at booking so we schedule the extra minutes rather than cut it fine.

Luggage and bigger groups

Surf boards and beach gear are common on this stretch alongside VIP luggage. Tell us the count with your booking so we send an SUV or van that handles it in one vehicle.

Night and early-morning departures

Early and late departures are normal from Macao and the price does not change for the hour, though we do avoid scheduling the roughest sections of unpaved access road in heavy rain after dark when it can be avoided. We confirm the pickup time the evening before by WhatsApp.
