The rate covers the whole city as travellers actually use it: the Zona Colonial hotels around Calle Las Damas and Plaza España, the Malecón strip along George Washington, Piantini and Naco apartments, Bella Vista, Gazcue and the Agora area. The drive itself is a steady 2.5 hours on the Autovía del Este; what varies is the last twenty minutes, since entering the capital between 16:00 and 19:00 on a weekday is slower than any other part of the trip. We build that into the timing rather than pretending it does not exist. The Colonial Zone deserves one warning: several streets are pedestrian or one-way cobblestone, so the driver uses the nearest legal stop and walks your bags to the door instead of circling for twenty minutes.
